Moto Club Logo

UCLA’s newly established Moto Club approached me to refine and elevate their original logo, with the goal of achieving a more polished and professional identity.
One of the primary issues in the original design was typographic inconsistency. While the founder appreciated the overall style, the font selections lacked cohesion. To address this, I maintained recognizable elements, such as the drop shadow on “Bruins”, while introducing a more modern typeface for “MOTO” to better reflect the contemporary nature of the motorcycle. The club also provided the bike graphic with a request that it remain part of the logo. Although integrating the detailed illustration presented an initial challenge, I resolved this by incorporating a white border, ensuring clarity and preventing the graphic from getting visually lost within the composition.
